"Thank you for instilling in me the positive approach to my riding to help me gain back my confidence.Your kindness towards horses and understanding towards your clients are rare qualities found in a trainer. You are always available to help and consult, whether in the arena or by phone. Without you I would not have my new reiner (and he is the perfect match for me!), and I am so excited to show both my horses with the Guynn Team. It is truly a pleasure and honor to be your student, and a friend to you and Jan as well! Thank you, Mark!" - Sallie Broaddus

"Just wanted to say thank you for coming to cold, snowy Nebraska and putting on a great clinic!!  I have only heard positive comments on the "kind and knowledgeable Mark Guynn" - CPRHA

"I could never thank you enough for everything that you did for me at the World Show.  It means the world to me that you were there for me anytime of the day."  - Shelby Diede

Training with Mark Guynn is both enjoyable and rewarding.  He prefers to take a cooperative approach working with each rider and their horse as a team, from the ground up.  His philosophy is that it is this synergistic relationship between horse and rider that ultimately pays off in the show pen.  He works to make each team self-sufficient and confident in their acquired skills to handle any problems that might arise in the show pen, or when working on their own.  With the addition of Jessie Weisinger, Mark’s talented assistant, he has been able to carry out this methodology more proficiently through both the Reining and All-Around factions of the industry.  Mark and Jessie focus on arming each rider with knowledge and skills so his/her personal goals are within reach.

Mark’s sense of humor and patience are conducive to a relaxed yet goal oriented training environment.  His kind and gentle approach brings out the best in both the horses and their riders.  Jessie is a perfect match with her understated methods and talent level.  The pair create a skilled combination which allows them to effectively tag team on lessons and coaching at the shows.  However, Mark’s greatest strength lies in the way he deals with entry level riders, both youth and non-pro.  His understanding of the horse industry as a whole, coupled with his compassion for the animals themselves, is reflected in the success he has had in bringing novice riders up through the ranks to new levels in the horse world.
